    KGMC Graduation: Qandeel Murtaza Sets Record with 17 Gold Medals in MBBS

    At Khyber Girls Medical College (KGMC) in Peshawar, a historic academic achievement was celebrated as Qandeel Murtaza secured an unprecedented 17 gold medals in her MBBS program. The graduation ceremony was filled with pride and enthusiasm as her name was announced repeatedly for top honors across various subjects.

    Qandeel received warm applause from the audience as she stepped forward to collect her medals, marking one of the most exceptional academic performances in the college’s history. The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa personally awarded medals to the highest achievers during the event.

    Accompanied by her father, a tailor from Haripur, Qandeel’s accomplishment was a source of immense pride for her family. In a conversation, her father highlighted the family’s strong academic tradition, noting that excellence is a common trait among his children. He shared that one daughter is currently enrolled at Khyber Medical College, another holds a Grade 17 position in the Federal Investigation Agency, a third has earned a PhD and works in Islamabad, and his son is an engineering graduate.

    The ceremony also honored other distinguished students, including Muqaddas, who earned 10 gold medals, and Sabeeh, who received seven, underscoring the institution’s consistent record of academic excellence. These accomplishments were widely lauded, with Qandeel Murtaza’s record-breaking success serving as a highlight and inspiration for future medical students at KGMC.
