In a significant development, Pakistan’s military spokesperson dismissed India’s so-called “Pahalgam narrative” as completely discredited, condemning Indian politicians for intensifying regional tensions through aggressive rhetoric rooted in Hindu nationalist ideology.

Addressing a joint press conference alongside senior air force and navy officials, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director-General Lt-Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry highlighted that even Indian children are questioning the true perpetrators behind the Pahalgam incident.

He firmly stated that the “Pahalgam drama has been buried forever,” signaling Pakistan’s rejection of the narrative.

Meanwhile, Lt-Gen Chaudhry emphasized that Pakistan continues to make the most significant efforts toward peace in the region, contrasting this with the stance of Indian political leadership.

He criticized Indian politicians, suggesting they resemble warmongers more than statesmen. Furthermore, he accused political interests in India of undermining the professionalism of its military.

Notably, the military spokesperson condemned the promotion of “Hindutva slogans” and the ideology of “Akhand Bharat,” which advocates for a greater unified India, as factors fueling regional instability.
