The victims were identified as Mohammad Arshad, son of Fazal-ur-Rehman, and Zameer, son of Nawab. Both were between 16 and 18 years old and employed as labourers at a nearby factory. Arshad was originally from Khushab district, while Zameer hailed from Sanghar.

the police, the two youths had taken shelter under a parked trailer to escape the intense heat and fell asleep. The trailer driver then unintentionally moved the vehicle, resulting in the fatal crushing of the two labourers. Following the accident, the driver fled the scene.

Authorities have gathered crucial information regarding the trailer and its driver and are actively working to locate him. The bodies were transported to Jinnah Hospital by rescue teams and were later handed over to their families after legal procedures were completed.

A relative of Zameer shared that he worked as a cleaner on a goods trailer and had arrived at Port Qasim earlier that day for unloading duties. He had recently married and was resting under the trailer when the tragic accident happened.
