ITP Launches Facilitation Van Schedule and PS on Wheels Services in Capital

The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has introduced a new schedule for its facilitation vans, aiming to improve service accessibility for residents throughout the capital. These vans are designed to provide on-the-spot assistance and streamline traffic-related services, reducing the need for citizens to visit police stations physically. This initiative reflects ITP’s commitment to leveraging mobile units to enhance public interaction and convenience.

In addition to the facilitation vans, the ITP has also made the Police Station on Wheels (PS on Wheels) services available across Islamabad. These mobile police stations are equipped to handle various administrative and law enforcement tasks, enabling quicker response times and better community policing. The deployment of these services across the city is expected to improve law enforcement efficiency and public safety.

Notably, the introduction of these mobile services aligns with broader efforts by law enforcement agencies to modernize and decentralize their operations. By bringing services directly to the public, the ITP aims to foster greater trust and cooperation between the police and the community. This development is significant in enhancing the overall governance and security framework within Islamabad.
