Pakistan Launches One-Window System to Ease Hajj 2026 Pilgrims’ Process

Pakistan has introduced a significant initiative to facilitate the preparations for Hajj 2026 pilgrims by launching a one-window operation aimed at streamlining the entire pre-departure process. The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced that all essential procedures—including training, vaccinations, documentation, and travel arrangements—will now be completed under a single roof, often within just one day.

This new system is designed to ease both the time and financial burdens on pilgrims. Approximately 119,000 pilgrims will benefit from a comprehensive range of services provided at designated Hajj camps. These services include mandatory vaccinations, training sessions, visa processing, issuance of air tickets, distribution of identification lockets, baggage tagging, and basic medical preparations.

In a significant development, the second phase of the Hajj 2026 operation is scheduled to commence this Wednesday. Camps will become operational in 10 major cities across the country, including Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot, Sukkur, and Rahim Yar Khan.

Meanwhile, the Ministry’s spokesperson, Umar Butt, highlighted that vaccination schedules and training details have been made accessible through the Pak Hajj App. Pilgrims are advised to bring their original national identity card along with a computerized bank receipt containing a photograph when visiting the Hajj camps.
