A young woman, active as a social media content creator, has accused two men of gang rape at gunpoint in Lahore’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA). Following her complaint, police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) and initiated a search to apprehend the alleged perpetrators.
The FIR was lodged at Defence C police station, naming two suspects identified by the victim. Investigation teams have been assigned to track down and arrest the accused individuals.
In her statement, the woman explained that she creates promotional content for various social media platforms. She claimed that one of the suspects contacted her online, proposing a collaboration for a promotional video and inviting her to visit a studio.
She recounted that she, accompanied by a female colleague working in the same field, went to the specified location in DHA. Upon arrival, the suspect reportedly picked them up in a car and took them to a private apartment where another man was already present.
The victim further alleged that both men held them at gunpoint, physically assaulted them, and sexually assaulted her. The suspects also threatened her to prevent her from reporting the incident to law enforcement authorities.
Police officials have confirmed the registration of a gang rape case and stated that raids are underway to capture the suspects. However, no arrests have been made to date.
Authorities emphasize that investigations are ongoing, with efforts focused on ensuring that those responsible face justice.
