The Ministry of Electricity and Water in Kuwait has announced upcoming scheduled maintenance work on several secondary substations across the country. This essential upkeep is expected to result in temporary power interruptions affecting various neighborhoods during the maintenance period.

To help residents prepare for any disruptions, the ministry has launched an online tool accessible through its official maintenance portal. Consumers can use the “Am I Affected?” feature by entering their automated home number or by pinpointing their location on an interactive map. This service provides real-time updates on whether their properties will experience power outages.

In a significant development, authorities have emphasized the importance of staying informed by regularly checking official communication channels for updates related to the maintenance schedule. They have also encouraged residents to plan accordingly to minimize inconvenience during the power cuts.

Meanwhile, the ministry has reminded the public that in the event of any electrical faults or emergencies, immediate assistance is available by contacting their dedicated hotline at 152. This proactive approach aims to ensure safety and swift resolution of any issues arising during the maintenance operations.
