Punjab experienced intense rainfall accompanied by strong winds, leading to tragic consequences across the province. At least two people lost their lives, while 18 others sustained injuries as houses and rooftops collapsed amid the adverse weather conditions. The incidents were reported from various districts, highlighting the widespread impact of the storm.
In Sahiwal, a wall collapse injured a woman and a child, underscoring the vulnerability of residential structures during the heavy downpour. Meanwhile, in Sargodha, the situation turned fatal when a 55-year-old man named Umar Hayat died due to a roof collapse. Additionally, four individuals were injured in the same district, and six goats also perished in the incident, reflecting the severity of the damage caused by the storm.
Chiniot also witnessed a fatality when a 40-year-old woman lost her life in separate incidents that injured two other people. Other districts, including Bhakkar, Hafizabad, and Multan, reported injuries resulting from house collapses, further illustrating the widespread destruction caused by the weather system. In Mianwali, a bus accident occurred during the heavy rainfall, leaving four passengers injured, while Faisalabad saw three people hurt due to falling roofs.
