A significant fire incident occurred at the Finance and Trade Centre (FTC) located on Shahrah-e-Faisal in Karachi, sparking immediate action from local firefighting teams. The blaze was reported in the early hours, leading to the deployment of multiple fire brigade vehicles to the scene in an effort to contain the situation swiftly.

In a prompt response, three fire tenders along with a snorkel unit were dispatched to the FTC building to tackle the flames. Firefighters arrived quickly and initiated operations aimed at controlling the fire and preventing it from spreading to adjacent areas within the structure. Thick plumes of smoke were visible rising from the building, highlighting the intensity of the fire.

Fire officials confirmed that teams are actively engaged in extinguishing the fire while also working to ventilate the premises to clear the smoke. Despite the severity of the incident, there have been no reports of casualties or injuries so far, offering some relief amid the emergency. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown as investigations and firefighting efforts continue.

Meanwhile, authorities remain on high alert, closely monitoring the situation to ensure the safety of the building and surrounding areas. Further updates are anticipated as rescue and firefighting operations proceed, with officials committed to managing the incident effectively and minimizing damage.
