Security forces successfully eliminated 13 militants during two distinct operations conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, an official statement released on Tuesday by the military’s media wing. These operations targeted militants identified as members of the Indian-backed group Fitna al Khawarij, a faction known for its destabilizing activities in the region.

One of the key operations took place in the Bara area of Khyber District, prompted by actionable intelligence indicating the presence of militant hideouts. Security personnel launched a carefully planned intelligence-driven assault, engaging the militants with precision strikes. This operation resulted in the deaths of 10 militants, with their positions being effectively neutralized during the firefight.

Meanwhile, a separate operation was carried out at another undisclosed location within the province, where security forces managed to kill three additional militants. This brought the total number of militants killed across both operations to 13. The military emphasized that these actions are part of ongoing efforts to eradicate militant threats and maintain peace and security in the volatile region.

Further details regarding the second operation have not been disclosed, but the military reaffirmed its commitment to continuing such counterterrorism measures to ensure long-term stability in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. These operations highlight the persistent challenges faced by security forces in combating militant groups and their determination to safeguard the region.
