    Six Killed Over Snatched Bikes in DI Khan; Main Suspect Killed in Police Encounter

    In a violent incident in Mangal village of Tehsil Paroa, Dera Ismail Khan, six individuals lost their lives while trying to retrieve motorcycles that had been stolen the previous night. The confrontation escalated when the victims confronted the suspects, resulting in a deadly shooting.

    The police reported that three motorbikes were snatched on Monday night, prompting the victims to return to the area in search of their vehicles. Upon arrival, the suspects opened fire, killing six people instantly and injuring two others.

    The deceased have been identified as Muhammad Ramzan, Matiullah, Gul Zaman, Pir Muhammad, Muhammad Altaf, and Rehmat Shah. However, the identity of one victim remains unconfirmed. The injured, Ashfaq Khan and Sajjad, were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

    In a significant development, the main accused, Zulfiqar Marwat, was killed during a police encounter that followed the shooting. Station House Officer Samar Abbas confirmed the suspect’s death and stated that the area has been sealed off as authorities continue their search for additional suspects involved in the attack.

    Police investigations are ongoing, with officials expressing confidence that substantial progress will be made soon in apprehending the remaining culprits.
