    Netflix Sets April 23 Release for Stranger Things: Tales from ’85

    Netflix has officially announced the release date for the animated sci-fi series Stranger Things: Tales from ’85 in its latest trailer, sparking excitement among fans worldwide. On Thursday, March 26, the streaming platform unveiled a thrilling preview of the show, accompanied by the confirmation that it will premiere on April 23, 2026.

    The trailer was shared with the caption warning, “those creatures can’t get out, or it’s game over,” heightening anticipation for the new installment in the Stranger Things universe. Fans quickly expressed their eagerness, with one commenting, “I want it to be April 23rd already!” Another fan enthusiastically wrote, “Hawkins 1985… we’re so back,” while a third praised the animation, saying, “This looks so so so beautiful!!! omg I can’t wait to see it.”

    In a significant development, the series will follow the beloved characters Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Max during the winter of 1985. The storyline centers on a terrifying force that has awakened beneath the ice, prompting the group to unravel the mystery and protect Hawkins from this new threat.

    Stranger Things: Tales from ’85 will consist of 10 episodes, offering fans an extended dive into the Stranger Things world through animation. The voice cast features Brooklyn Davey Norstedt, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport, Luca Diaz, Elisha EJ Williams, Braxton Quinney, and Benjamin Plessala. They are joined by Brett Gipson, Jeremy Jordan, Odessa A’zion, Janeane Garofalo, and Lou Diamond Phillips, adding depth and talent to the production.
