The Public Authority for Manpower in Kuwait has issued a directive urging companies to temporarily halt all outdoor work activities as the country faces unstable weather conditions. This advisory, released on Thursday, specifically targets businesses engaged in outdoor operations such as delivery services and contracting firms, emphasizing the need to protect employees from potential hazards posed by the current weather.

In a significant development aimed at safeguarding workers, the authority highlighted that this suspension is a precautionary measure designed to ensure a safe working environment. The decision reflects growing concerns over the unpredictable weather patterns affecting Kuwait, which could pose risks to personnel working outside.

Authorities have assured that outdoor work can recommence once weather conditions improve and stabilize, signaling a return to normal operations. Meanwhile, the Public Authority for Manpower expressed gratitude to companies for their cooperation and stressed the critical importance of prioritizing employee safety during such adverse weather periods.

This move aligns with broader efforts by Kuwaiti officials to mitigate risks associated with extreme weather, underscoring a proactive approach to workplace safety. Businesses are expected to comply fully with the advisory to minimize any potential harm to their workforce until the situation normalizes.
