The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has officially granted permission to major cellular mobile operators, including Jazz, Ufone, and Zong, to commence the rollout of 5G services across the country. Last week, Pakistan successfully completed the second phase of its 5G spectrum auction, a pivotal event that paves the way for the commercial launch of next-generation mobile services. The Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, highlighted that the auction generated a substantial revenue of $510 million for the government.
