Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Syed Asim Munir marked the Eid festivities by spending the day alongside Pakistan Army troops stationed in the Kurram region. His visit included participating in Eid prayers with the soldiers, engaging directly with frontline personnel, and acknowledging their steadfast professionalism and high morale amid ongoing security operations. This gesture highlighted the military leadership’s commitment to maintaining close contact with troops deployed in challenging environments.
Upon his arrival, the CDF was warmly welcomed by the Corps Commander Peshawar, reflecting the high regard in which he is held by senior military officials. The Eid prayers, which were conducted in the presence of the troops, also included supplications for the continued stability and prosperity of Pakistan. This spiritual gathering served as a moment of unity and reflection for the soldiers, reinforcing their resolve to protect the nation.
During his time in Kurram, CDF Munir took the opportunity to commend the soldiers for their critical role in the recent Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq.
