The Federal Bureau of Investigation has initiated a terrorism investigation following a tragic shooting incident at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. The attack resulted in the death of one individual and injuries to two U.S. Army personnel. The gunman responsible for the attack was swiftly neutralized shortly after opening fire inside a classroom located within the university’s College of Business. All three individuals involved were affiliated with the university, either as students or staff members. However, officials urged people to avoid the area as emergency responders continued their work on the scene. As a precaution, all classes and campus operations were suspended for the remainder of the day to allow for investigation and to support the university community during this difficult time.
