The team, consisting of students Jannat Majid and Sidra Abdul Khaliq under the guidance of coach Ahsan Ali, stood out among a competitive field of top law schools from across the globe. Their exceptional performance was officially recognized through participation certificates and awards presented by the event organizers.
Representing Pakistan as the only national team among approximately a dozen international participants, the Punjab University contingent achieved a rare feat by securing the Best Memorial Awards in both the Defence and Prosecution categories. This dual victory in the written advocacy segment underscores their comprehensive understanding of legal principles and their ability to craft compelling arguments from opposing perspectives, a challenge that few teams manage to master.
The competition results, released by the BIIM authorities, highlighted the Pakistani team’s outstanding scores of 92 out of 100 on both sides of the case.
